Meet the Talented Artists Behind the Love Local Collection
At Rottnest Fast Ferries, we believe in celebrating the richness of local talent, and our 'Love Local' Collection is a testament to this commitment. We collaborated with four outstanding Western Australian artists, each bringing their unique flair to the collection. Let's take a moment to get to know the creative minds behind the artistic magic:
Catherine - CS Illustrator
My name is Catherine and I live in Perth, Western Australia. I have had a passion for animals since I was a little kid, and so I pursued an honours degree in zoology and anatomy at the University of Western Australia. In 2017 after I'd finished my degree I began drawing full-time, and discovered the perfect blend of my two interests: accurate, precise observation from my scientific background, expressed in the medium of art.

Pauler Lust - paulerlust.art
My name is Paula, I moved to Australia from Spain 5 years ago and I now see Fremantle as my forever home. I’ve been drawing my entire life and when I arrived in Australia, I had the opportunity to try new art mediums, like hand poke tattoos, pottery, live drawings, etc. The inspiration for my art comes from native Australian flora and fauna as well as human feelings.
Creativity and art is an essential part of my life, it’s what makes me happiest. For me, art acts as a kind of meditation that enables me to navigate the world with greater consciousness and mindfulness.

Mike - Run Mouse Run
I'm a creative professional, a cartoonist, and a writer located in Western Australia. My small business Run Mouse Run has been running for 20 years and offers illustrative and entertaining services. These include creating mascots and caricatures, professional illustrations, live drawing sessions, and scriptwriting for animated TV series. I run a drawing workshop series for children called “Saturday Morning Cartoons”. My business has a reputation for being involved in happy community and charity projects.
