Leaving the settlement, the tour follows beachside paths, exploring pristine bays and popular beaches, including The Basin; one of Rottnest's most picturesque swimming spots. Standing sentinel over the swimmers is Bathurst Lighthouse one of the most popular photo stops on the tour.
Segway & Ferry-1.5hr Fortress Adventure
Take the path less travelled as you go off-road and explore Rottnest Island’s most spectacular bays, beaches and attractions on a Segway built for adventure!
Visit the Bickley Battery gun emplacements and Jubilee lookout, and learn how important Rottnest Island was in defence strategy for Fremantle port during World War II. Our guides will explain the amazing natural habitat of the island with plenty of time to stop at stunning photo locations and perhaps a Quokka selfie along the way.
Segway & Ferry-2hr Coastal Explorer
Travel through the relaxed Settlement area of the Island before enjoying the magical vistas from Bathurst Lighthouse. Pass the glamping accommodation of Discovery Park and Pinkies Beach before stumbling across the most visited bay on the Island, The Basin. Meander along the coastal beachside paths of Longreach Bay to Geordie Bay where there is time to enjoy a drink at the café before heading out to explore the holiday cottages of the area and limestone sandy beaches of several bays such as Little Parakeet Bay. We then head inland where the history of the salt mining by the original settlers brings a whole different perspective to the island. Finally, depart the interior to the open area of the Causeway back into the Settlement and arrive at the departure point.
There are so many photo opportunities on this tour you won’t believe! Enjoy a relaxed pace that allows you to stop, observe and take in the diversity of the island.
